As the hot summer months come to a close, the mad rush of travel is starting to ease up a little. We are still seeing inquiries for travel in September though, and are reminded of what a wonderful time of year the Fall is to be in Provence. Those 35+ Celsius days are over, replaced by lovely mild temperatures and the occasional brief refreshing rain shower. Fall fruit is in season, and the locals seem happy to be rid of the bustling crowds as they settle into a slightly slower pace.
If you are thinking of a last minute trip to France, or are maybe just now planning your lodging for your Fall vacation to Provence, give is a shout. Prices at La Maison Rose are reduced for the "shoulder" season, and with the euro down on the US dollar this is a great time to see France and save a little money. Happy travels!
