Over the years we have worked hard to make La Maison Rose a special place for our guests. The response has been terrific, and has resulted with happy clients and new friends as they discover the joys of Provence. This year, in addition to continuing to offer La Maison Rose for rent, we are trying something new: Slow Travel Provence: 7-day small-group tours that feature in-depth exploration of French food, wine, art and history. These tours are intended for larger groups than La Maison Rose can accommodate, and for couples who might normally seek out a tour, but are turned off by the idea of tour buses and crowded, expensive tourist sites.

Slow Travel Provence represents the natural evolution of our love of travel, history, art, wine and the locally grown and prepared food of Southern France. Our goal is to create a unique, in-depth experience that will allow our guests to leave behind the stress of their daily lives, make new friends, and become a part of the local Provencal community, in the comfort of a fully organized, premium quality, small group tour.

With Slow Travel Provence you will cook with master chefs, tour world class wineries, picnic amongst fields of lavender, bake crusty bread in an artisan boulangerie, pick-up gardening tips at an organic vegetable farm, and much more.  Each night, rather than hop from hotel to hotel, you will return to our idyllic, centrally located Provencal mas (farmhouse).

Our itineraries are designed to the rhythms of the seasons. Each day will be devoted to an in-depth exploration of an aspect of life in Provence--and of course always be highlighted by sumptuous meals, wine and time to simply slow down and relax in the idyllic French countryside.
